Dear All,
I can't believe my eyes! We've already finished our third week. Each week becomes richer in resources and readings. All of them are so interesting and important for me that I'm sorry I didn't planned my time beforehand. This week I'm in the ocean full of different, irresistible and useful links for English learners and teachers. I never used Blogs or shared any pages before. These assignments are new not only for me but for my students also. I'm having reading nights, this is good my mind is used to saving my time. Besides weekly tasks everybody's posts are also very helpful for me. Looking through posts I'm learning how to create live English environment and how to use alternative ways of teaching. I appreciate Dr Donna's support with doing my posts and getting materials. Every week opens the web world wider and shows it brighter. I'm sure any teacher with a small e-item could create something new in teaching.
This week's reminded me my first visit to the USA. Since hadn't spoken to any english speaker. I learned the language by translating, doing tests or grammar exercises. And on the plane I was really shocked and even frightened because I could understand nothing. The first week of my study visit was only listening and paying attention to people's mimes and the situation where the phrases I heard were used.
Reading the articles I think integrating CALL aplication would be more effective when they are related to students daily routines or even life. I mean any e material presented as lesson assignment may demand over attention. Natural situations adapte them easily.
Hot greetings from Uzbekistan!
Regards Sanobar
