Week 6

It's great everybody are creating amazing PPs. I'm so sorry I'm still trying my Quiz PP. I'm little bit confused integrating them in my lessons but I enjoyed looking through all resources and web links that make clear our assignments. This course helps us to create more effective lesson plans and to be fast in PPs. I think successful PPs depend on computer versions also.I hope I'll have progress in a day or two.

 Best wishes Sanobar

Week 5

I'm sure this quote describes clearly what we've searched this week. PBL makes us be more specific and detailed to achieve good results in the classroom. The students have to be more creative to   define on what they are focused.
This week I enjoyed surfing Web quest samples. They are very interesting to attract the students and enables them to create their own ones. Gifted students are powerful helpers during and after the lesson they can suggest something more specific sometimes they could find easier way of learning. I myself prefer to integrate maths as it is close to PBL. At the beginning of the lesson I present them puzzles or any puzzled topic so that it make them think and imagine the way of solution. But when we discuss something I must attract all of their attention. In this  case I try to divide them into subgroups paying attention to mixed and needed members. As  we know we have students with different styles of learning. While doing research work or implementing PBL they could do the task according to their learning. It reflected when  I asked them to find Web quests.

As for Rubrics I must work hard on them to make the suitable ones.

All my Best, Sanobar

Week 4 Integrating Technology

Week by week we are getting more motivated and hardworking. Besides reading resources I try to catch up all e-mates posts too. They are true, definite guidelines for me. This week passed by experimenting what sites are suitable for what grades. Awesome lesson plannings. My students are enjoying surfing English learning sites.

I've had several techno-lessons so far. And they were very effective and more complicated  than my previous lessons. If we have all conditions we can achieve amazing results.

Week 3

Dear All,

I can't believe my eyes! We've already finished our third week. Each week becomes richer in resources and readings. All of them are so interesting and important for me that I'm sorry I didn't planned my time beforehand. This week I'm in the ocean full of different, irresistible and useful links for English learners and teachers. I never used Blogs or shared any pages before. These assignments are new not only for me but for my students also. I'm having reading nights, this is good my mind is used to saving my time. Besides weekly tasks everybody's posts are also very helpful for me. Looking through posts I'm learning how to create live English environment and how to use alternative ways of teaching. I appreciate Dr Donna's support with doing my posts and getting materials. Every week opens the web world wider and shows it brighter. I'm sure any teacher with a small e-item could create something new in teaching.

This week's reminded me my first visit to the USA. Since hadn't spoken to any english speaker. I learned the language by translating, doing tests or grammar exercises. And on the plane I was really shocked and even frightened because I could understand nothing. The first week of my study visit was only listening and paying attention to people's mimes and the situation where the phrases I heard were used.

Reading the articles I think integrating CALL aplication would be   more effective when they are related to students daily routines or even life. I mean any e material presented as lesson assignment may demand over attention. Natural situations adapte them easily.

Hot greetings from Uzbekistan!

Regards Sanobar

Week 2

Hello Donna!

Hi Everybody,

I'm just redoing my Week 2 Post. Thanks God I'm managing to catch my studies up. Dear Donna great thanks for whatever you are doing for me and for our group. This group is really successful and are doing amazing job. There are lots of readings and resources actually I hesitate whether I should to stop my other activities or I could look through all of them in one time. Surfing the blogs and the links Donna share I'm so greatful to have experienced e-mates. Everybody are starving for knowledge. At first I didn't know how to use blogs at my lessons. Because as other teachers few of my students have computers at home. However most of them have I pods or modern mobile phones. They could create and experiment what I'm learning. E-teachers blogs are helping me how to solve modern problems.

Greetings from Uzbekistan, Sanobar

Week 1 Posts

Being e-student is success. I'm so happy I managed to create my own blog with the help of my Instructor's valuable instructions and e-resources. Wish other teachers had also such opportunity.

When I thought about what course to choose I remembered my difficulties in doing TEYL online course. I was really inexperienced to design my Final Project or to create something useful for my assignments. So this time I chose Webskills course following my students advice. Once he said:" I think today English is the main part of our studies. Through English you can do much more. To learn the language we can find, share and even create something simple to fasten and better our mind. Could you teach computer lessons to help us?" I'm not professional. What to do? I applied for the second time. I'm really lucky,I was chosen I'm greatly satisfied with my e-collegues too. Most of them are great teachers as I got to know reading their Introduction posts. Before doing my blog I was a bit hesitated if I could do weekly assignments and tasks. Thanks Donna for clear explanations!
This course will encourage us to use e-skills with tons of resources.
