I'm sure this quote describes clearly what we've searched this week. PBL makes us be more specific and detailed to achieve good results in the classroom. The students have to be more creative to define on what they are focused.
This week I enjoyed surfing Web quest samples. They are very interesting to attract the students and enables them to create their own ones. Gifted students are powerful helpers during and after the lesson they can suggest something more specific sometimes they could find easier way of learning. I myself prefer to integrate maths as it is close to PBL. At the beginning of the lesson I present them puzzles or any puzzled topic so that it make them think and imagine the way of solution. But when we discuss something I must attract all of their attention. In this case I try to divide them into subgroups paying attention to mixed and needed members. As we know we have students with different styles of learning. While doing research work or implementing PBL they could do the task according to their learning. It reflected when I asked them to find Web quests.
As for Rubrics I must work hard on them to make the suitable ones.
All my Best, Sanobar
